In November, a new Bridge is voted on and then sworn into office by the Commodore. The following is the Oath of Office these members pledge.

Please raise your right hand and repeat after me, stating your name where I state mine.

I (state your name) do solemnly promise to pledge

that I will execute the duties to which I have been elected

to the best of my knowledge and ability

and to commit myself

to the by-laws of the Dolphin Yacht Club.
